Isaiah Lombardo

Isaiah Lombardo of Waltham is a full time staff member at Shake Shack in Watertown. Isaiah has worked and excelled at a variety of other jobs — including Stop & Shop and Fenway Park — but working for Shake Shack has been like family, he says.

Isaiah is a passionate self-advocate and public speaker who has spoken locally and nationally at conferences, medical schools, and elementary schools. He participates in Special Olympics volleyball and basketball and dances with the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in a class for adults with Down syndrome.

At Shake Shack, not only does Isaiah bring his unique personality and sense of humor, he is also a model employee, especially for the teenage workers. “I’m teaching them about skills — how to be on time and keep everything neat, don’t be late,” he says. “And being nice to people. That’s all that matters.”

“Someone like Isaiah is unique and it’s really exciting to see the energy he brings to this place. He’s the energy here. He’s the heart.”

– Brian Hickey, Senior General Manager
